Two Hours, Four Rattlesnakes

I was asked today if we had killed any rattlesnakes lately. My answer was no and that the last was a few weeks ago. Tonight my answer has changed. Between 5 pm and 7 pm Rick found and shot four--three adults and one youngster. The first was on the road to the Quonset Hut. Number two was outside the Quonset Hut. The third, the youngster, and fourth were on the road to the Quonset Hut. We don't called the road from the house to the Quonset Hut rattlesnake alley for nothing. The total for the year is now six.
