The Stocking Was Hung . . . .

.....finally!  I finished Katie's stocking this evening.  I had purchased the kit last year and put a few sequins on it.  I quickly realized I would never finish it for that Christmas, so I packed it away in our closet.  This past October I unearthed the kit and have been working on it a few nights a week.  Below is Katie's Sugar Plum Fairy stocking in its completed glory.  All of the doo-dads on the stocking were hand stitched.  The candy canes were hard because I had to stripe them, sew on the beads and sequins, and then sew the candy cane to the stocking.
