Rick's Thursday Picture and Computer Whiz

Today Katie's TAG reader came via UPS.  I had bought the gift pack so she got the pink pen, two books and a carrying case.  So far she likes it, but it will take some getting used to.  If you move the pen too fast across the printed words, it will skip syllables.  If you move it too slow, it sounds very choppy.  Regardless, I think it is a neat, learning toy and will help her with her reading.

Other than playing with the TAG reader, coloring and cleaning, we really didn't do much else.  However, we did have time to take a new picture for Rick.

I had to password protect my computer.  Lately I have been moving my laptop around the house and tend to leave it on the dining room table.  By taking it out of the office, it is easier for me to keep my eye on Katie and stops her from going into the office, which is off limits to her.  However, the other day she took my entire picture folder and moved it.  I had to do a search on my computer and found the folder in a Word folder called "Labels".  Thankfully it was intact.  Katie also has changed my Task Manager box, the one that displays when you do CTRL-ALT-DEL.  It no longer has the top menu and the name is missing.  I cannot close the thing down because those buttons are missing also, so I have to stop the process.  I didn't even know you could do that, so I don't know how to fix it.  I'll have to search the internet to figure out.  Like so many kids today, Katie is a computer whiz and can navigate pretty well.

I was just looking at the last few pictures that I have posted and in more than one, including today's, she has on her polka-dot top.  Really, she does have more than one top, but right now she is favoring that one so I am washing it every other day.
