The Things Katie Thinks

Conversation #1

Tonight Katie and I were driving back from Abilene--well I was driving, she was riding--and she asked me if I wanted her to sing. I said sure and then she asked me what song. I wanted to hear the all popular "Momma Song."

Katie:  Darn it! I forgot to download it.
Me: Download it? From where?
Katie: From my swing set.
Me: Download it to what?
Katie: My head! (At this point she is getting snippy because of my stupidity.)
Me: You download from your swing set?!
Katie: Yes, my swing set is magical.

Conversation #2
Katie was singing a song about Jesus and I heard her sing "he killed Jesus." I interrupted.

Me: Katie, who killed Jesus?
Katie: One of the guards.
Me: One of the guards? What was his name?
Katie: His name is John Heck.
Me: Really. I didn't know that.
