This morning I found two little, legless cricket bodies on the kitchen floor. It's good to know that the Lupester is doing his job. After disposing of the corpses, I had a bevy of chores to do outside. It can be very time consuming to keep Corinth West running smoothly and more so when Rick is not here. (He typically does all of the daily outdoor chores and I just water the plants and pull weeds.) So, needless to say--but I am going to say anyway--my morning flew by.
Saturday Katie tested for her next belt in Tae Kwon Do. The Belt Ceremony is next Monday and those that earned the next belt will receive them at that time. I assume Katie earned hers because they did not tell us differently. Of course I forgot my camera and video camera, so the only pictures we have are those from Rick's cell phone and of those pictures only one is clear. Beggar can't be choosers. Rick's cell phone fell in a water puddle on Friday, so the fact that we got any pictures at all is amazing. Anyway, I will try my darnedest to remember the cameras on Monday night.
I am embarrassed to say that my calves still hurt from Saturday's exercise. Rick bought shelving for the base. We opened all four boxes and carried the heavy pieces down to the LCC. I figured out that I made a minimum of 26 round trips on those main stairs to the LCC and the main stair case has 28 steps. By the end, my legs were a little shaky.
Well, time to roust the Doodlebug and head for Tae Kwon Do. Yesterday toward the end of the class, Katie lost her enthusiasm. When the class ended she snuggled up in my lap and told me she was having a bad day. She was tired from not having napped and staying up late the previous night. Anyway, Katie had an early bedtime last night and slept 12 hours. That was nice.
