Pieces of Surprise

Rick left this morning for Dayton.  We were on our way home from MOPS, when Rick called to inform Katie that he left her two surprises at home.  She was to only open one.  He also said, "Mommy might have to help you with it."  Below is a picture of the surprise.

My question is who the heck is going to help Mommy?!  No directions were included.  The best I can ascertain is that it is a dinosaur, but is it one or two?  Rick, I hope you are having a good laugh about this one.  As for Katie, after looking at the items spread on the coffee table she put the pieces back into the envelope and said, "Mommy, let's open the other envelope."
