Twenty Fires Aided By The Wind

I just heard on the local news that there have been 20 grass fires/wild fires that have ignited since noon today in the Big Country, which is what they call the area around Abilene. Also, all of the fire departments in the five counties in this area are currently fighting major fires. The closest fire to us is the one between Roatan and Hamlin, about 23 miles from us, and it is threatening five homes and is 0% contained

Because of the wind, flights have been either canceled or delayed in and out of Abilene. Rick's flight is still showing on-time, but that will probably change.
