Hi

Before Katie goes to sleep, I climb in her crib and read her a book. Tonight we also played with her YBCR flash cards. The cards are double-sided, have one word printed on each side and a picture that slides out to show the word. I had the cards scattered on her bed and they were closed so you could not see the pictures. She asked me, "Momma where's 'hi'." I reply I didn't know. She scanned all of the cards and flipped them over until she found "hi." I was shocked. She clearly knows how to read "hi."
