This afternoon I was trying to get Eric into the house. I have to use a towel around his waist to lift his back end up almost all of the time now. Well, he sat back down right on my foot. I pulled my foot out from underneath his 105# butt and managed to break the toe thong on my Fit Flops. I was really bummed. I love my Fit Flops, so I ordered a new pair online today.
As for Eric, he is still outside and has been since this morning. I cannot get him up the ramp. Thankfully it is overcast today, so it's not that hot. Regardless, I keep on running outside to refresh his water and to bring his water bowl to him. I also gave him a sponge bath with the outdoor hose this afternoon, which I actually do every day. I figured the cool water would feel good.
I finally figured out how to download pictures off of my cell phone to my computer. I have been promising Rick the picture I have posted below. Last week Katie and I had lunch at Subway and the picture commemorates that event.
Today I caught Katie with the Hershey's Syrup. She got it out of the refrigerator and squirted some in her mouth---gee, I wonder where she got that idea from, Rick?!! I put the bottle back in the refrigerator. About 15 minutes later she must have been feeling guilty because she beckoned me over to a few throw pillows that were on the floor. Once there, she unearth another bottle of Hershey's syrup. Apparently she hid it for late night snacking.
Katie loves to wear other people's shoes. Today she raided the master bedroom closet and selected a pair of my high heels. How she managed to walk around the house in these was miraculous. I even have difficulty with that task! She was singing while she walked the catwalk so that is why her mouth is open.
